The International Webinar of the Romanian RSA in cooperation with the ERSA took place on 12 November 2020, being virtually hosted by the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, under the auspices of the International Knowledge Fair, a traditional, big annual international event of this university. The guest speaker was Prof.Dr. André Torre from the Paris-Saclay University and INRAE, Agroparistech, the ERSA President. Professor Torre delivered the presentation entitled “The COVID-19 Pandemic and Proximity Relationships”, which attracted a large interest considering André Torre’s major contribution to the promotion of the proximity relations on the international regional science research community’s agenda. More than 60 participants – academics, researchers, PhD students, MA and BA students – from Romania and from abroad (France, Germany, Turkey, Austria, Finland, etc.) attended the meeting.
